What is Monster Jam? And what happens


Monster Jam is one of the worlds biggest Monster Truck competition, that is  held throughout the whole year with more shows during the winter than the summer, and travel around the county in U.S. and Canada.
Monster jam shows
Monster Trucks face off in two different forms of competition - Racing and Freestyle. In the smaller shows they have a wheelie competition and / or a donut contest or sometimes even both.

Truck History
The Legend of Grave Digger started in 1982, Dennis Anderson created the first monster truck version of Grave Digger in 1986 by adding 66” monster truck tires. Anderson made it his own with a distinctive blue and silver paint job and included the logo for Currituck Grain Co. March 2010 marked the resurrection of this iconic monster truck when Anderson’s eldest son, Adam, debuted Grave Digger The Legend to the delight of the sold-out crowd during an encore performance at the Monster Jam World Finals.

Truck History
Dennis Anderson came up with the concept for Grave Digger® back in 1981. Originally built out of an old 1957 Chevy Panel Wagon and parts that he scrounged from junkyards, Grave Digger of today has grown by leaps and bounds. Grave Digger is one of the most decorated Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam trucks in the world  and Anderson has won four Monster Jam World Finals championships, capturing the racing title in 2004 and 2006, and the freestyle title in 2010 and 2000.

Truck History
Predator is known for being one of “THE” first custom concept monster truck bodies. The actual feline body wasn’t introduced to Monster Jam® until 1992, but the name has been running with Allen Pezo, owner and driver, since 1988. Predator and sister trucks called Prowler and Pouncer are also owned by Allen Pezo.

Truck History
Titan first joined the circuit in January of 2012. By February of that year, Titan was already in the winner's circle, picking up a trio of victories in Portland. Then the team received the honor of being invited to the first-ever Young Guns Shootout at Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam World Finals XIII.

Truck History
 Monster Magic evolved when Steve Sims brought back Mopar Magic — one of the sport’s most popular machines in the early days of competition — as a second team truck to complement Stone Crusher. He then changed the name of Mopar Magic to Monster Magic in December 2011.

Truck History
Maximum Destruction's body is officially classified as a "futuristic SUV". Featuring an orange and silver paint job coupled with a low-to-the-ground, aerodynamic body style, it's well-known that Max D is possibly the fastest truck in the sport. In fact, driver Tom Meents has been crowned Monster Jam World Racing Champion no less than four times, the most recent coming at the 10 th Annual Monster Jam World Finals in 2009.

Truck History
The monster truck captured the racing title two years in a row in Phoenix . The driver of Scarlet Bandit, is Dawn Creten - one of only a handful of women in Monster Jam®. Dawn has been driving monster trucks since 1997.

Truck History
The well-known Marvel character is listed at seven feet tall, weighing 1,040 pounds. The Marvel character is now represented in Monster Jam events with the Hulk Monster Jam truck that towers 12 feet high, weighs close to 10,000 pounds, and sports a 1,500-horsepower engine.

Truck History
The monster truck was created with a hot rod in mind, 1957 body, and only one person capable of handling its violent nature: Jim Koelher. Jim and Avenger have been to every Monster Jam World Finals since it first began in 1999. The Avenger was voted “fan favorite.” An even bigger career highlight occurred in 2003 when Avenger was crowned the Monster Jam World Finals Freestyle Champion.
